Blank Fear

Skin to key.
Slowly.
Screen and
Blood, shoot
Through wire.

Begin to reveal
Just what
Is
Inside of me.

If I Could Offer You

Don’t look up
From the page,
My friend.

The world will
Never
Thank you.

And it’s safer
Where you are.

Stuff to do this year

I’m publishing this to shame myself in to action, any prompting our reminders welcome. Happy new year all.

-Write two poems a month minimum
-Enter at least four poetry competitions
-Try and have poems published
-Write two books
-Paint at least one painting a month
-Sew at least three craft things a month
-Take one good photo a week
-Show people the photos, sewing, paintings, writing
-Set up an etsy shop in case people like what I show them
-Finish copy writing diploma
-Get freelance copy writing work
-Spoil my cats
-Tell my family they are awesome for putting up with me
-Get married (I am getting married, I’m not just crazy)
-Stop being lazy
-Get fit so 5k obstacle course doesn’t end in humiliation and self imposed exile
