A Stranger Watches

I hear the breath
As it rasps past your
Paper dry lips, setting
Your life free.
Escaped from its
Weakened prison
Your life flies, soars
And spins through
The sweet fresh air.
Glittering and glowing.
As I sit, watching,
Listening, I can only
Hope you will let
Enough go while you
Still can. How I would
Love to see a swarming
Stunning cloud of

  1. For me, this reflects the last breaths of life from someone who is now released from the captivity of an aged, weakened and broken body to emerge free and unhindered, as a rainbow from the shackles of the storm.

    Beautifully inspiring and comforting for those it touches deeply…
